BASICS: Saturday, September 14th, 2013. Waves of 200 racers every 1/2 hour. If you are time-conscious, enter 9am (elite racers) or 9:30am wave. The course is built to handle a lot of people, but some bottlenecks are inevitable. All racers receive a t-shirt, custom medal, and one 12oz beer.
THE FLAG THING: You get 3 flags. Roaming Zombies try to “infect” you by stealing them. Lose your flags and you need to you find a “Medic”, who will have you perform a physical task in exchange for another flag.
ZOMBIES: Spaces are LIMITED. Shifts are about 2.5 hours. $25 & you get a t-shirt, Panic Point water bottle, & one free beer. Zombies can run the course free after the race (no flags, zombies, or timing chip) or pay an additional fee to be a full-fledged racer.
TEAMS: 4 racers per team. Each person gets 3 flags. Cross the finish line together with at least 1 of your 12 flags to be “official”.
LOCATION / PARKING: Youngsville, NC. Parking is $10 per car.
FOOD, BEER, & MUSIC: One free 12 oz. beer per adult from White Street Brewing Company. Additional beer for sale. Food sales by The Fire Pit of Wake Forest. Live music all day headlined by Runaway Cab.
